It was some sort of acid. An ex boyfriend and another man raped her then poured acid over her. She’s called Katie and she’s gorgeous!

Her boyfriend was abusive and pretty much imprisoned her in a hotel room and raped her and stuff then she finally got away. She was talking to him online and he told her to come meet him or something then he arranged someone to throw a cup of acid on her face. She ran into a coffee shop and washed it off but it burned her really badly obviously and then she went to hospital and she’s had heaps of different surgeries and skin grafts and stuff. I watched a show about her story and I think she’s amazing. Now she works with a whole lot of people with deformities and birth defects and helps them gain confidence in themselves and stuff like that.
